Home Support Services

Our home support service provides support to over 100 families in Belfast each year. We support families with children aged 3-11 who are either on the waiting list for an Autism assessment or have a diagnosis of Autism. The aim of our home support is to empower and educate parents / carers of children with Autism to be able to confidently understand their children's needs and autism and then to enable them to continue implementing interventions and strategies which we discuss over the period of our support.
Our home support is delivered over 8 weeks of 1-1 home visits with the parents / carers where we can discuss various behaviours and concerns including routines, transitions, sensory issues and social skills, and then create tailored and specific visuals, interventions, schedules and social stories.
Our home support is for families living within the Belfast trust area and all of our referrals come through the Family Support Hub. To find out the contact details of your local family support hub please check here
