Programmes


Early Years


The Early Intervention programme is part of the Belfast Wide Early Years project and our aim is to support those children who are identified as having significant difficulties in their development, including fine motor skills, speech, language and social communication and/or sensory processing.

After School


The Afterschools Programme, is one of our social development programmes for school-aged children diagnosed with autism, and/or a developmental delay. The programme is facilitated 5 days per week, across multiple venues.


Junior Youth Club


Our Junior Youth Club is for children and young people aged 8-14 years old. 

The youth club runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights from 6pm-8pm.


Senior Youth Club


Our Senior Youth Club is for young people aged 15–18 years old.

The youth club runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nights from 6pm-8pm.



Back On Track


The programme supports the educational and social development of primary aged children across N Ireland using early intervention initiatives in Literacy and Numeracy.

Saturday Club


Two sessions,are facilitated on a Saturday, in multiple venues. Similarly, to our Afterschool programmewe have a high ratio of staff to children and use a range of tools in a social and play setting.

Sibling's Club


Sibling’s Club is a programme for children who have a sibling with additional needs. The club runs from 6pm to 8pm every Monday night. Sessions are held on site at 284a Ormeau Road, BT7 2GB.


Home Support


Our home support service provides support to over 100 families in Belfast each year. We support families with children aged 3-11 who are either on the waiting list for an Autism assessment or have a diagnosis of Autism.

Therapeutic Services


Within Solas we have Art therapy, Play therapy, Children’s talking therapy and Parental counselling services.


Respite


Our respite service involves taking a child out of the home to offer families much needed support and time for themselves. We work with children on a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio depending on the needs of the child.
