After School Programme
The Afterschools Programme, is one of our social development programmes for school-agde children diagnosed with autism, and/or a developmental delay.
The programme is facilitated 5 days per week, across multiple venues.
We have a high ratio of staff to children and use a range of tools in a social and play setting.
We provide group respite, with on average 6- 8 children, per session.

We focus on adhering to the Playwork Principles, encouraging our children to explore their interests and further develop their skills through play.
The children engage in fun sensory activities, one-to-one educational games, social cooperation games and physical play.
Why is the programme needed?
The club gives children with additional needs the opportunity to socialise and integrate with their peers outside of school in a safe and supportive environment.
It also provides parents with a few hours respite for an afternoon or two per week.
